Find the Right Mansfield Neighborhood

Right neighborhood or right house ... Which is more important? When you're searching for homes in Mansfield, the answer to that question can become "complicated."  Our real estate agents have created this list of things to consider when your searching the perfect Mansfield property for you and your family.

  1. Community
    Your new community residents will become your extended family. Explore the area to see who lives there. Is the community mostly retired, single, or families with children?

    How about the character? Do you prefer to live in a friendly location with community BBQs and cleanups? Perhaps you'd prefer a private artsy 'hood to work on that upcoming novel.

  2. Schools
    If you have children, you'll want to know what to expect in nearby schools. Learn more about specific details through Great Schools online.

  3. Crime
    While Mansfield crime rates are far below the national average, that doesn't mean they are non-existent. Make sure you review the latest details about your prospective neighborhood to see it is in a hotspot for theft, car prowls or vandalism.

  4. Traffic
    Your commute times to and from work will matter. The best way to determine the actual traffic you'll experience is to do a test run from the neighborhood you'd like to buy in.

  5. Walkability
